Trinette is a physical therapist with over 17 years of experience in multiple settings: athletic training room, industrial physical therapy, aquatic and outpatient physical therapy. She started her career journey at the U.S. Air Force Academy, where upon injuring herself, she found the value of athletic training and was fascinated by the rehabilitation process. She continued her studies at Weber State, where she started interning in the athletic training room. She continued her studies at graduate school and completed both her Master’s in Physical Therapy and her Athletic Training certification the same year. Later, she returned to school to obtain her Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
Her interest in water has been lifelong as she began competing in swimming at the age of 4, and she received a swimming scholarship. Later, she added water polo, swim instructing, lifeguarding, lifeguard trainer, and swimming/water polo coaching to her accomplishments. It became natural for her to pursue aquatic therapy and to start teaching water aerobic group fitness classes. She has taught water aerobics for over 25 years.
With her background in athletic training and water exercise, she became a certified kinesiotape practitioner (CKTP), Aquatic Therapist (ATRIC – Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation Instructor Certified) and currently holds the Aquatic Exercise Association (AEA) Instructor Certification. Trinette has vast experience in the orthopedic treatment setting, with special interest in the treatment of SI dysfunction, sciatica and radiculopathy. She also enjoys working on the shoulder, hands and all orthopedic conditions. Trinette is also trained in IASTM and cupping.
Trinette served in the 561st Air Force Band as a percussionist and is deeply patriotic. She continues in her interest in music, but mostly vicariously through her children’s many band engagements.
